Testimonial
“Around a month ago I saw myself traveling halfway around the world to the amazing country of South Africa! Over my time there I was able to take in the breathtaking views and amazing wildlife that was present. One of my favorite experiences on the trip was going on a hunt with the Ekhaya team. They had everything planned for the day as well as plenty of snacks and drinks to keep us comfortable. We started the hunt with driving around the property searching for specific animals that we were interested in hunting. Once we found what we were looking for, we hiked a little closer to get the full hunting experience. They were able to get me a perfect shot on a beautiful blesbok! Overall, I had a great experience, and the Ekhaya team is truly amazing! Would definitely recommend, and I will hopefully be able to go back in the future.” – Korbin Adam’s (USA)

For plains game, .30-caliber rifles or comparable options are ideal. Most engagements occur between 80 and 180 yards, so we recommend sighting your rifle accordingly.

Yes. South Africa requires a temporary firearm import permit. Our team will provide the necessary documentation and support to streamline this process. Many guests opt to use our lodge rifles for added convenience.
Our safaris typically include a combination of game-drive access and walk-and-stalk hunting. A moderate level of fitness is beneficial; however, your Professional Hunter will tailor the pace, terrain, and approach to suit your comfort and ability.
Certainly. Non-hunting guests are warmly welcomed at a reduced daily rate. They may enjoy guided photographic excursions, relaxation at the lodge, or accompany you on the vehicle during outings, should they wish to do so.

We proudly recommend Karoo Taxidermy, located conveniently within our region and widely regarded as the premier taxidermy studio in the Eastern Cape. You may explore their work at: karootaxidermy.com.
